Thanks for uploading this very interesting and - dare I say - unique performance of Brahms' Third ! For me Knappertsbusch is at his greatest in the Fourth Symphony, especially the performance from Cologne, also in this series from Orfeo, with which I hope you are familiar ? Warmest regards.
